I head that Bin Laden is finding it harder and harder to recruit. They say it's because things the CIA is doing is finally working. I say it's because the world is changing. The internet is bringing people closer. Are there still fanatics, haters? Yep. Are they dangerous? Yep. But a world divided is going to fall to bigger things, like ecological chaos. Maybe we are feeling that on some level. We can only hope.
I agree with Nancy and actually blogged about it. Mill of tiny little virtual steps which we take here in blogland, sharing, helping, understanding, supporting, from all walks of life, crossing borders, cultures and languages for a better life, for one people, one world. I decribed how I experienced these days in Munich. The day will never be forgotten, we are our responsibility. Love
hi there...^^ this the first time that i dropping my comment here...interesting topic...9/11...tragic n yet how the worlds is changing dramatically after this tragedi....neway...hope everything will get better...^^ n the world will find the best solution...~good day...!~
I hope, I hope! And I hope I am here to witness a great brotherly coming together of humankind. Perhaps the blogosphere is helping... everyone reading, writing, accepting new ideas and tolerant of all. Wouldn't it be wonderful to think we all had some small part in peace?
It's sad that it took such tragedy to foster such camaraderie across nations and beliefs. I still wish we coulf have gotten where we are ( as I know everyone wishes) without such pain.
Kathy B & Jen - ditto your comments. I do wonder if women (and bloggers) ran things would everything be different - or maybe they ARE different and moving that way because we are women and bloggers.....
Wow. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I love feedback... what with being a cook and all. I will respond to your comments via email (if you do not have a "noreply" address or here, below your comment) As always, Bon Appetite!
I'm a cook. That's who I am at the very core of me. Yes, I'm a mother and sister and friend and all those other titles we have for ourselves. But if you asked me WHO I AM at the pit of my soul - I'd say I'm a cook. An "in the kitchen, up to the elbows in food, recipes, pots and pans" cook. I love it - and I do it everyday.
Hard to believe it's been so long... and Bin Laden never got caught.
ReplyDeleteBuffalo, Yes. AND time to bring our troops home.
