Winter Weather and What's Cooking?

We are in the midst of a major snow storm here in the Northeast. This is what it looked like this morning and the brunt of the storm has not hit yet. We are expecting about 16 more inches of the white stuff.

This afternoon I'm putting together a big pot of Taco Stoup. It will simmer all day and anytime someone wants to warm up with a hearty, healthy bowl they can just dip the ladle in.

Stay warm and stay safe where ever you are today.

  1. It's beautiful. Stay warm. I'm off to copy this soup. It's white here today, too, but the sun is shining.

  2. I wish it would snow here. Not too much, just enough for me to make my first snow angel and snow man. I've never seen it snow. :)

    Mmmmm. Taco soup!

  3. Nancy - enjoy the stoup!

Phoebe - oh, we have to get you north of the Mason Dixon Line, everyone needs to make at least one snow angel in their lives!

  4. Those snow pictures are fab... I haven't seen snow for years now :0( There are downfalls to the sun shining every day ya know!

  5. I LOVE SNOW! Hope you can enjoy it and not go to crazy with a full house of homebound family. You will get plenty of mouths to enjoy/test your cooking .

Wow. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I love feedback... what with being a cook and all. I will respond to your comments via email (if you do not have a "noreply" address or here, below your comment) As always, Bon Appetite!
