A Happy Day

My grandlitte, Jillian, turned four years old.

Her favorite movie is "How To Tame A Dragon". She LOVES dragons.

Jillian also knows how to get her Nani (that would be me) to do just about anything. She asked me to make her a dragon cake for her big day.

Sometimes, you just can't help but smile the big smiles.

It's good to be four.

  1. Wow, a very cool cake! I bet it tasted yummy too :)

  2. This is awesome! What a great cake. Great movie, too:)

  3. So glad it was a happy day. Happy happy birthday to Jillian! She is a very lucky little granddaughter. The cake looks fantastic. Sending peace and hugs to you. Take care of yourself.

  4. Fabulous fire-breathing dragon cake! My 3-yr-old granddaughter has asked me to make her a red dragon costume for Halloween. She doesn't know that movie yet, but thanks to her dad and grandpa she knows Smaug from The Hobbit. I'm learning that Smaug has a jeweled chest. :-)

  5. What an amazing cake! Lucky Jillian and I know only too well, how our 4-year-old granddaughters wrap us around their little fingers! LOL!

  6. You must be the best Nani! Fabulous cake! I might get one for my 50th,
My son loved dragons when he was little so i made him a dragon quilt, he loved it!
Hope all is going ok with you,

  7. Excellent cake! Your granddaughter is lucky to have such a loving Nana!

  8. You did a wonderful job on that cake! Grandchildren are so sweet.

Wow. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I love feedback... what with being a cook and all. I will respond to your comments via email (if you do not have a "noreply" address or here, below your comment) As always, Bon Appetite!
